The Tattoo Institute of SWFL is a tattoo school where students complete an apprenticeship in tattooing and recieve the licenses required to be a professional tattoo artist. Located in Ft Myers, Florida, our academy is led by award-winning experienced tattoo artists who provide comprehensive hands-on training in the art of tattooing. With a strong focus on safety and practical expertise, students have the opportunity to work on real-world tattoo projects and gain valuable experience through internships, preparing them for successful careers in the tattoo industry.

Meet Dark Moth Tattoo, This is the home shop of the Tattoo Institute's instructors Piper Rudich and Abbie Lewis. Piper, the owner of Dark Moth Tattoo, started her apprenticeship in Ft Myers 25 years ago.
Having trained many of the area's top talents, they are excited to start this new chapter focused on teaching the art of tattooing to the next generations.
